Description
The Contractor shall carry out the maintenance and testing of the plant and equipment and respond to any call-out all as detailed in the specification. The specification and all associated documents listed in the ITT are available to download via the Bluelight EU supply e tendering portal. The appointed Contractor shall carry out the duties listed in the specification to ensure that so far as possible the emergency generator installations throughout the West Midlands Police premises are maintained in a good and safe working order by means of regular maintenance and repair together with 24 hour breakdown coverage, 7 days a week, 365/6 days a year. The Contractor shall carry out the maintenance and testing of the plant and equipment and respond to any call-out all as detailed in the specification. The requirements of the specification are to be continuous throughout the Contract. All registration and certification shall be provided at Contract commencement and when renewed. The range of equipment covered under this Contract consists of the following: a) Emergency Generating Equipment. b) Fuel Storage Tanks and Contents Gauges. c) Fuel Transfer Pumps, pipework ancillary equipment and Fire Valves. d) Exhaust Pipes and Flues. e) Battery Chargers and Generator Starter Batteries. f) Operation of auto-change facility.
