Anskaffelsen vedrører Håndholdte Radioer og Tilbehør til det danske Forsvar Lot 1: FMI ønsker at indgå en rammeaftale med en varighed på 6 år vedrørende anskaffelse af håndholdte radioer samt tilbehør. Håndholdte radioer og tilbehør anvendes for at sikre kommunikation mellem indsatte enheder/personer under brandbekæmpelse, motorcykeltjeneste, gummibådshåndtering, redningsoperationer med helikoptere, HELO-handling og havnemanøvre både på krigsskibe, miljøskibe, opmålingsskibe samt under boarding operationer, herunder i ATEX-miljø. De nuværende håndholdte radioer er fuldt integreret i Søværnets kommunikationssystemer.
