Banedanmark har et GPS-trackingsystem, der anvendes til dels at effektivisere processer omkring lokalisering af rullende jernbanemateriel, tjenestebiler samt andet materiel og samtidig optimere dannelse af kørebogsdata for tjenestebiler og driftstimeregnskab/logbog for motoriseret rullende jernbanemateriel. Derudover er systemet brugt til at nedbringe uautoriseret og uanmeldt anvendelse af Banedanmarks materiel. Banedanmarks nuværende kontrakt på GPS-trackingsystem udløber snart, hvorfor Banedanmark med dette udbud på ny ønsker at indkøbe et GPS-trackingsystem til at understøtte samme formål som i dag samt indkøbe tilhørende udstyr (GPS’er) samt implementering, drift, vedligehold, support, tilpasning/udvikling af det udbudte samt rådgivning
