Die Stadtwerke Verkehrsgesellschaft Frankfurt am Main mbH (VGF) beabsichtigt, die erfolgreiche Umsetzung des Projektes RBL II (Rechnergestütztes Betriebsleitsystem II), Bauabschnitt 3 voranzutreiben. In der Phase A1 werden insgesamt 13 Haltesteige mit neuen FLED und DFI-C Anzeigern ausgerüstet. Die Haltesteige erhalten jeweils eine neue nachrichtentechnische Ausstattung für eine Bedarfsansage. Die Bedienung der Bedarfsansage (Text-To-Speech Funktion der Anzeiger-Inhalte für Sehbehinderte) erfolgt über einer Taster Lautsprecherkombination. Die Bedarfsansage wird jeweils am Mast unterhalb der Anzeiger installiert. Die Technik wird nach Bedarf in den FLED und DFI-C Anzeigern integriert.
