Vest brann- og redningsregion (Norwegian abbrevition: VBR) [West fire and rescue region] is a long-term professional collaboration between independent fire departments in 20 municipalities in the Bergen region. Professional networks are established through the collaboration, regional support and management support, overall plan documents and joint quality standards. The main purpose of the collaboration is to create a safer everyday life for citizens through a formal and structured network for sharing knowledge and experience. Vest brann- og redningsregion shall procure 1 mobile training module based on a 20 feet container. The module/container shall be transported on the region's trailers with towing hooks, and shall be used for training activities for the region fire departments. By procuring 1 mobile training unit, the region will gain increased flexibility with regard to training activities.
