TII Luas Operations Team is seeking a contractor to fulfil the potential of the ‘Sites’, engage effectively with the commuter audience and maximise the revenue return from ‘Sites’ to TII. The successful Tenderer will be required to market, sell, develop and manage the Advertising Business and to maintain the advertising assets in accordance with the terms of the contract. In this regard, TII Luas Operations manages a substantial network of outdoor advertising sites, potential and released, across the Luas tram network in Dublin. The advertising business includes, but not limited to, external and internal positions on network Tram fleets, fixed and digital advertising sites at Luas tram stops and other various locations near Luas tram lines (the “Sites”). Advertising could be (subject to conditions as set out in requirements / contract) in the form of; • advertising columns, • light boxes, • Luas Tram fleet, • internal portrait panels, • internal strapline panels, • internal window strip panels, • tram wraps, • new advertising sites on Luas, • through promotions and samplings, • back of Luas tickets, • handholds/wrist straps, • stop shelter wraps, • flat screen advertising on Trams or at stops, • Luas signature sites / unique structures, • Luas bridges, • Luas lift shafts, • via digital advertising, • Luas ticket vending machines (TVMs). As background, the Luas Operations team oversees (Transdev Dublin Light Rail (TDLR) who currently operate the Luas Dublin’s Light Rail system, day-to-day operations and maintenance of Luas, including the management of advertising on the Luas network and Luas Park and Ride sites. In addition, the Luas operations team directly manages Luas asset renewals and improvements and supports and advises on all other Luas and Metro projects. The contract duration is for a 5 year period with two option to extend for a further period of 2 years in accordance with clausev3.2.and 3.3 of the contract. Total duration is not expected to exceed 9 years. The extensions are at the discretion of TII in accordance with the contract provisions. Note the amount as advertised is to cover the full possible term, inflation and all possible externalities.
