Request for expressions of interest to participate in a supplier demonstration day regarding ultra high pressure lancing and misting systems. The purpose of this PIN is to invite suppliers to attend practical product demonstration days for ultra high pressure lancing (UHPL) and misting systems. Suppliers are invited to express an interest in demonstrating their products with a view to assisting the UK Fire and Rescue Services compare the performance and characteristics of water delivered into an unventilated compartment via UHPL or a misting system. Suppliers wishing to express an interest must email contracts@essex-fire.gov.uk to be invited to the document exchange. All requests to participate in the demonstration days must be received by noon on the 3.1.2018. Suppliers must note that this exercise is being undertaken as market research and pre-procurement engagement for UHPL and misting systems. The findings of this research will be used to inform the development of suitable specifications and will assist individual Fire and Rescue Services to determine what type of equipment will best fit their operational needs.
