Durham County Council intend to undertake a competitive tendering procedure within the first quarter of 2024 for the provision of an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) Platform as a part of the wider Care Connect Digital Upgrade due to the impending switch off of the analogue phone network (PSTN), to be completed by December 2025. The Alarm Receiving Centre Platform is required to enable the monitoring of digital alarms and communication with other digital equipment.
