Fødevarestyrelsen udbyder en rammeaftale om levering af eksportcertifikater. Fødevarestyrelsen udsteder eksportcertifikater på særligt papir til brug for udførsel af fødevarer, foder, levende dyr eller biprodukter m.v. Eksportcertifikaterne består af certifikatpapir samt side 2-papir. Ved certifikatpapir forstås papir, som er forsynet med løbenummer, Fødevarestyrelsens logo, vandmærke og holografisk sikkerhedsfolie. Side 2-papiret har et baggrundstryk af Fødevarestyrelsens logo og de engelske navne for ministeriet og styrelsen. Baggrunds-trykket er placeret diagonalt på papiret. Første side af et eksportcertifikat udskrives altid på certifikatpapir og de efterfølgende sider udskrives på side 2-papir
