Description
Award of contract for the delivery, installation, commissioning and acceptance of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system. Dedicated MRI system (including high-performance gradient system, graphical user interface, pulse programming software and receiving coils). Lot 1 includes the following deliveries and services: 1.1) Delivery of the MRI system into the experimental room of the OncoRay premises, including: — pre-installation site visit for magnetic survey; — pre-installation site visit for rigging and transportation inspection; — pre-installation site visit for floor inspection; — delivery according to DDP Dresden (Incoterms 2010). 1.2) Installation of the MRI system at the OncoRay premises. The following actions must be undertaken in the parking position: — shimming of the magnet after it has been mounted on the gantry; — calibration of the gradient system after its has been mounted on the gantry. 1.3) Site Acceptance Test (SAT) of the MRI system at the OncoRay premises. The following criteria must be demonstrated at acceptance: — artefact-free localiser scan; — artefact-free 2D and 3D spin echo (SE) and gradient echo (GE) sequences for anatomical imaging; — artefact-free 3D imaging with a bSSFP sequence of an MRI phantom and a human volunteer; — artefact-free 2D-cine imaging with a bSSFP sequence of an MRI-compatible motion phantom and the liver of a human volunteer. 1.4) Commissioning of the MRI system at the OncoRay premises. The following criteria must be demonstrated at commissioning: — fulfillment of all performance specifications as provided in the offer. 1.5) Training for users at the OncoRay premises: — user training to operate the MRI system, with focus on instructions to use the system for patient and phantom scanning; — user training to operate the pulse sequence programming environment of the MRI system; — user training to operate the transport platform (insofar offered); — user documentation in English or German. 1.6) Warranty and Maintenance: — 12 months including parts and labour for all components starting with successful SAT at the OncoRay premises. Gantry for dedicated MRI system, patient positioning system, software for image segmentation and real-time target volume tracking Lot 2 includes the following deliveries and services: 1.1) Delivery, assembly and installation of a gantry for the MRI system at the OncoRay premises, including: — pre-installation site visit for inspection of transport routes; — delivery according to DDP Dresden (Incoterms 2010); — assembly and installation of MRI system and gantry and patient positioning system; — necessary coordination with the supplier of the MRI system; — provide project management and design reviews with third party partners for the design and construction of a mobile platform incorporating all system components (MRI system, gantry, patient positioning system); — provide project management and design reviews with third party partners for the design and construction of an RF cabin to be installed around the system components onto the mobile platform; — provide detailed technical drawings (e.g. A23in .dwg format) of custom designed gantry that allows rotation of 90 º for both perpendicular and parallel magnet configurations at 126 cm isocenter height. 1.2) Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and commissioning of the assembled MRI system and gantry at the OncoRay premises. The following criteria must be demonstrated at acceptance: — positioning of the magnet such that the B0 field direction at the magnetic isocenter is perpendicular to the central beam axis of the proton beam; — positioning of the magnet such that the B0 field direction at the magnetic isocenter is parallel to the central beam axis of the proton beam; — problem-free change of magnet orientations between both aforementioned positions of the magnet; — artefact-free MR imaging in both aforementioned positions of the magnet. 1.3) Commissioning of the assembled MRI system and gantry at the OncoRay premises. The following criteria must be demonstrated at commissioning: — fulfilment of all performance specifications as provided in the offer. 1.4) Training for users at the OncoRay premises: — user training to operate the gantry system with the MRI system mounted onto it; — user documentation in English or German. 1.5) Warranty and maintenance: — 12 months including parts and labour for all components starting with successful SAT at the OncoRay premises.
