Beinn Dearg Woodland Monitoring
Published
Description
Upland and Vascular Plant feature monitoring to be carried out in March 2024 in Beinn Dearg SSSI/SAC. Please note that this is not a regulated procurement; we are only using the portal to reach a wider potential field of suppliers from which to select to invite to tender. This project is concerned with Upland and Vascular Plant features. This project will undertake field assessment, using common standards monitoring and Herbivore Impact Assessment methods on Beinn Dearg. We require that some work be undertaken before March 31st 2024. While it is intended that the work will cover both the 2023/24 and 2024/25 financial years, we have not had our budget for 2024/25 confirmed as yet so it is possible that the contract will not progress beyond 31st March 2024. All agreed work carried out by that time will be paid for. Contractors are welcome to suggest work schedules and alter the suggested payment terms to allow for as much work to be carried out in this financial year as is reasonably possible.
