Description

SWB currently outsource a wide group of outpatient services to a qualified provider (originally appointed by the CCG); this is now due for renewal. The following services are examples of what is currently in scope: Gynaecology, Urology, ENT and Cardiology, Respiratory and Opthalmology. This is not a complete list and is likely to be varied to suit the needs of the Trust after a contract has been let. The following services may be added to the existing group: dermatology, rheumatology, gastroenterology and orthopaedics. Bidders will be required to offer the full breadth of all services and we are looking to select only one provider. It is essential that community outpatient services can be provided in suitable Medical premises close to patients homes: Great Barr, Perry Barr, Ladywood, Tipton, Rowley Regis, Wednesbury and Birmingham City Centre. The successful supplier will need to have a robust IT platform in order to engage with Trust IT secure connections for the sharing. Rigorous management reporting and adherence to KPI's and quality standards will be applied with regular contract reviews. Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust wishes to receive expressions of interest for the Outsourcing of these patient services. Suppliers should use this portal to register their interest, no later than 7.6.2019.
