Description

The Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the "Council") is conducting this procurement process using the open procedure in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 ("PCR"). Tenders are invited by the Council from Contractors with relevant experience, sufficient capacity and capability in providing Landscaping Works (the "Works") across the borough of Kirklees, under a proposed Framework Agreement as detailed further in the Tender Pack and Specification. The project types include play areas, parks, public realm, housing estate environmental regeneration, multiuse games areas, footpaths, cemetery construction, planting to sides of highways, grounds maintenance and other projects suitable for landscape contractors. The procurement documents are available to download from YORtender: https://yortender.eu-supply.com Lot 1: Play A full range of landscape contract Works including hard and soft landscape Works and specifically with an expertise installing play areas. Site clearance of vegetation, earthworks, removal of existing surfacing furniture and equipment, supply and installation of surfacing including paving, fencing, site furniture, play equipment, safety surfacing, soiling, seeding, turfing, planting, tree planting, tree cell installation. Works may include refurbishment and painting of existing or new equipment. The Works may include smaller specialist elements which would reasonably be expected to be delivered through a subcontractor. Softworks are expected to be a minimal on the vast majority of these projects. Lot 2: Environmental Improvement Works A full range of landscape contract Works including hard and soft landscape Works but excluding play areas. Site clearance of vegetation, earthworks, removal of existing surfacing furniture and equipment, supply and installation of surfacing including paving, fencing, site furniture, soiling, seeding, turfing, planting, tree planting, tree cell installation. Works may include: - the refurbishment and painting of existing or new equipment; - smaller specialist elements which would reasonably be expected to be delivered through a subcontractor. Lot 3: Planting and Landscape Maintenance A full range of exterior softworks and softworks maintenance. Site clearance of vegetation, earthworks, small scale removal of existing surfacing furniture and equipment, soiling, seeding, turfing, planting, tree planting, tree cell installation. Maintenance of landscape elements may follow a planting project or be stand alone. The Works may include smaller specialist elements which would reasonably be expected to be delivered through a subcontractor.
