Description

Bereavement Services within the Council have a requirement for the ongoing annual subscription of the Crematorium AV (Audiovisual) Equipment. The ongoing monthly and annual charges include the following: Annual Music Charge, Troubleshooting, Webcast/Tribute requirements, Service music requirements. Lot 1: The contract period will be for a period from 20 November 2024 – 17 November 2029 (5 years) with no option to extend. The award of this contract under the Negotiated Tendering Procedure can be justified under Standing Order 9.3.1(a) of the Council’s Standing Orders on Contracts. The Executive Director is satisfied that the above justification applies to the award of this contract, it is in the Council’s interests to use the Negotiated Tendering Procedure for this contract and the contract will secure Best Value for the Council in terms of Standing Order 2.6 because Vivedia Limited are the sole provider of the system currently in place. This provides the Council with the best route to market and demonstrates best value whilst providing the Council’s crematorium subscription services of its AV equipment.
