Vehicle Recovery Services — heavy and light lot 1 areas 1 and 2. This PIN covers an upcoming procurement that will cover the vehicle recovery requirements for Northamptonshire Police under Lot 1: heavy and light. Lot 1 heavy and light is for vehicle recovery of heavy and light vehicles. Vehicles can include abandoned vehicles, stolen vehicles, RTC Vehicles, etc. Suppliers should be capable of recovering vehicles of any specification, be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The lot is split into 4 distinct areas. The upcoming procurement will cover lot 1 areas 1 and 2 only. Further details on the areas are included in the lot description. This notice is intended to advertise the contracting authority's intention to run this procurement and to ask for expressions of interest in this opportunity. Interested bidders are asked to express an interest in this procurement by 21.2.2020. Vehicle Recovery Services — heavy and light lot 1 area 1. The upcoming procurement will cover the vehicle recovery requirements for Northamptonshire Police under Lot 1: heavy and light is for vehicle recovery of heavy and light vehicles. Vehicles can include abandoned vehicles, stolen vehicles, RTC Vehicles, etc. Suppliers should be capable of recovering vehicles of any specification, be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Area 1 description below: A5 Northbound from Junction 18 of the M1 to the County boundary – both carriageways; M1 southbound from junction 18 to junction 17; M1 Northbound from Junction 18 to Junction 19/County boundary both carriageways (including roundabout beneath junction 18, northern slip road on and southern slip road off). The above includes all destinations with the designated area between the M45 and the M1 (M45 not included) A14 Junction 1 to 7 – both carriageways and roundabouts at junctions; A43 North from Junction 7 of the A14 to Junction with A6116 – both carriageways including all roundabouts; A6116 to A6003 North to County boundary – both carriageways including all roundabouts. Vehicles can include abandoned vehicles, stolen vehicles, RTC Vehicles, etc. Suppliers should be capable of recovering vehicles of any specification, be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Area 2 description is detailed below: County boundary to the South West up to Area Boundaries with Area 1 and 3. M1 from South of County Junction 15 up to Junction 17 – both carriageways and slip onto M45, etc. at Junction; M1 North only from Junction 17 to 18 (includes slip off at Jct 18); West M45 from Junction 17 M1 to the Junction with the A45 Dunchurch – both carriageways; South County boundary from A509 Junction with A428 – A428 Junction with A45 – both carriageways including all roundabouts; A45 East to Junction with A5076 (Great Billing Way) Great Billing Way/Talavera Way A5076 ring road to junction with A508 Harborough Road – Both carriageways including all roundabouts; A508 to border with Area 1 – Both carriageways. All destinations within the designated area up to and including County boundary.
