Description

In summary, TG4 require a new archiving solution to replace the existing Petasite with a new LTO-8 tape archive. It should provide at least the same level of functionality and redundancy and a full migration solution must be provided. Retention of the existing diva HSM layer may be considered (with a technology refresh) but consideration will also be given to a solution where this functionality is natively incorporated into the proposed solution. Interested companies with the required credentials and the expertise will be required to supply and install new LTO-8 tape archive and provide Maintenance support.
