Schools Energy Pathfinder D and B Programme - Point Cloud and Visual Survey Procurement

Published

Description

Schools represent a significant opportunity for building energy retrofit – with the additional benefit of their high visibility in communities which has potential additional demonstrator and awareness value. This project is part of the Schools Energy Pathfinder Programme 2024 where the main objective of the Programme is to implement a range of deeper energy retrofit and renewable heating solutions in schools and to test approaches, build best practice and capacity to develop a replicable scalable energy retrofit model for the building stock to help deliver on the sectors energy and decarbonisation targets. It is intended to undertake Point Cloud and Visual surveys to facilitate the design assessment and detailed design of deep energy retrofits through BIM Modelling in a number of schools across Ireland. The successful Surveyor will be engaged by the Longford Westmeath Education and Training Board (LWETB), who are acting as the client for the DoE and SEAI.
