Description

North Lanarkshire Council (The Council) has an ambitious vision to re-invent North Lanarkshire as the place to Live, Learn, Work, Invest and Visit. The Council aims to implement its vision that enables inclusive economic growth and prosperity through an ambitious programme of regeneration and infrastructure investment. In March 2020 the Council approved a business case to procure a strategic commercial partner that will deliver the full spectrum of Enterprise and Community Services. The Council is looking to engage with prospective partners prior to launching the procurement. Interested parties are invited to attend an online Pre-tender Project Engagement event (via WebEx) hosted by the Council. The event will be held on Monday 3rd August 2020 at 10.30 via Webex (https://www.webex.com). To take part in the Webex on-line event, interested parties can register to attend by accessing the following Eventbrite link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/enterprise-strategic-commercial-partnership-market-engagement-day-tickets-113597059864. The Council intends to seek a partner to create a long term strategic commercial place shaping partnership to provide an innovative new approach to the delivery of a full range of interconnected property, community asset and infrastructure investment to support its ambitions to revitalise its communities. The Council is currently preparing the project for a formal procurement, which is expected to commence in Autumn 2020. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is being published as part of the Council's preliminary market consultation for the project. The Council wishes to update the market on the scale of the Council’s ambition and the Council’s commitment to the project and to engage with the market to help it shape the opportunity to attract the right long term partner. An information memorandum providing information about the Enterprise Strategic Commercial Partnership project, the Council itself and the people and area it serves, is available from PCS. Interested parties are invited to attend an online Pre-tender Project Engagement event (via WebEx) hosted by the Council. Interested parties will be invited to complete a questionnaire, which will be made available via the PCS portal following the Pre-tender Project Engagement event, to provide feedback on key areas of the Council's proposed approach.
