The main focus is on the delivery of knowledge based training programmes for GP’s, AHP’s, Practice Nurse, Health Care Support Worker workforce within a Primary Care setting. It is expected that this programme of learning has the ability to offer both Live and recorded tutor led sessions. Lot 1: Lot 1A - GP Update To be able to provide current evidence based GP updates. To offer a variety of different teaching styles, offer practical toolkits, tips, and articles aimed at GPs working in primary care, but also suitable for advanced AHP/ nursing colleagues. Lot 2: Lot 1B - Womens Health To be able to provide current evidence based women’s health updates, including contraception, menopause and sexual health. To offer a variety of different teaching styles, offer practical toolkits, tips, and articles aimed at GPs working in primary care, but also suitable for advanced AHP/ nursing colleagues. Lot 3: 1C - MSK and chronic pain To be able to provide current evidence based MSK and chronic pain updates. To offer a variety of different teaching styles, offer practical toolkits, tips, and articles aimed at GPs working in primary care, but also suitable for advanced AHP/ nursing colleagues. Lot 4: 1D - Mental Health To be able to provide current evidence based mental health updates. To offer a variety of different teaching styles, offer practical toolkits, tips, and articles aimed at GPs working in primary care, but also suitable for advanced AHP/ nursing colleagues. Lot 5: 1E - GPN Nursing Course A comprehensive course to cover all current topics and consultations supported by practice nurses. To ensure evidence based and referenced to current national guidelines. Using a variety of different teaching styles, offer practical toolkits, tips, and articles aimed at practice nurses working in primary care, Lot 6: 1F - Lifestyle To provide knowledge and greater understanding of lifestyle medicine and how it can support the patient. Using a variety of different teaching styles, offer practical toolkits, tips, and articles aimed at clinical staff working in primary care. Lot 7: 1G - Cancer care To provide knowledge on recent developments in cancer care - from changes to screening programmes, updates in cancer prevention, new developments in early diagnosis and in end-of-life care. To enable GPs/advanced clinicians in primary care to deliver optimal, evidence-based care for patients with greater confidence. Lot 9: Lot 2 - Foundation chronic disease, Advanced chronic disease & Update chronic disease Suitable for a beginner level, new to disease aetiology, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of the condition, including any tests that may be performed. To understand the short and long-term effects of the condition, lifestyle advice, and any medication used to manage it. Reference to evidence based guidelines, to enable the learner to review new and existing patients in a general practice environment. Individual topics to include – Asthma, COPD, Heart Failure, Diabetes and Paediatric Asthma, ILD (Lung disease), AF, Stroke, rheumatology, frailty Suitable for anyone who would like to advance their knowledge and understanding of the chronic disease diagnosis and holistic management of the condition. Implementation of evidence-based strategies to improve outcome and minimise complications through early detection and management Individual topics to include – Asthma, COPD, Heart Failure, Diabetes and Paediatric Asthma, ILD (Lung disease), AF, Stroke, rheumatology, frailty Suitable for any AHP who would like an update on current issues in their practice. Individual topics to include – Coronary Heart Disease, Asthma, COPD, Heart Failure, Diabetes, Paediatric Asthma, Non-Medical Prescribing and Atrial Fibrillation, Stroke, rheumatology, frailty Lot 8: 1H - Dermatology To provide greater understanding of dermatology through increasing knowledge of common dermatological conditions, particularly relating to assessment, diagnostic skills, and potential treatment options. To enable GPs/advanced clinicians in primary care to deliver optimal, evidence-based care for patients with greater confidence.
