DTU har planer om at anskaffe et stordyrstelemetrisystem til overvågning af grise i forsøg med implantater for temperatur, blodtryk, puls, respirationsfrekvens, glukose og ECG måling, samt registrering af aktivitet. Det er DTU’s vurdering at kun Data Sciences International kan levere den nødvendige løsning, da de er den eneste leverandør af komplette telemetrisystemer til kontinuert monitorering af store dyr (grise) for blodtryk, EEG, puls, respiration, temperatur, blodglukose og aktivitet, hvorfor DTU agter at tildele dem kontrakten.
