1.3.3 Ealing has initially grouped activity into the following categories. Being considered is how best to resource each category, and whether this should be with a single contractor or a group of contractors:<br/>a) Reactive repairs and voids<br/>b) Planned and cyclical maintenance<br/>c) Gas safety – Servicing, repairs, and boiler installations<br/>d) Electrical safety – Servicing, repairs, and installations<br/>e) Lifts – Servicing, repairs, and installations (this could include lifts operating within the Ealing corporate property asset portfolio)<br/>f) Asbestos – removal<br/>g) Water Hygiene – Servicing, repairs and installations<br/>h) Fire safety – including fire risk assessment responsive works<br/>i) Decarbonisation and retrofit. Lot 1: Ealing is conducting this market engagement to test the proposed Model, and whether it stands a good chance of success in addressing their objectives; identifying any opportunities to adapt the Model or the procedure to achieve this. This includes a need for feedback on the appetite, ability and experience of service providers. Additional information: In addition to engaging with lead contractors, Ealing would encourage local businesses operating in the London Borough Ealing and its neighbouring boroughs that may provide services relevant to sub-contracting in the supply chain to engage as set out in the Brief.
