Newport City Footbridge has undergone a Principal Inspection highlighting the need for rust repairs, cleaning and painting. This scheme is being carried out to address these issues and eliminate any further rust appearing in these areas and to improve the look of the bridge.The nature of the structure requires mainly roped access to undertake the works, so a specialist contractor is required.Please refer to the tender documents/specification within e-Tender Wales for further information.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
