From September 2022, the Flying Start programme will be expanded to reach up to 2,500 more children aged 0 to 4 by increasing the Flying Start target areas in every local authority in Wales.To meet this target, Newport City Council is expanding the Flying Start childcare provision in Newport with a particular emphasis on strengthening Welsh-medium provision. The Council are seeking to retender for an approved list of childcare providers in Newport which will operate from 1 May 2025 until 23 February 2029.The approved list will as previously be established using a Dynamic Purchasing System in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulations 2015. This is the first round, and current and new providers in market are able to apply.A second round will be issued in May 2025 and will remain open until 23. February 2029.This requirement is being tendered via etenderwales and further detail as to the requirement can be accessed via PQQ_33646.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. Register your company on the etenderwales portal (this is only required once)- Browse to the eSourcing Portal: https://etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk- Click the “Suppliers register here” link- Agree to the terms and conditions and click “continue”- Enter your correct business and user details- Note the username you chose and click “Save” when complete- You will shortly receive an email with your unique password (please keep this secure)2. Express an Interest in the Project- Login to the portal with the username/password- Click the “PQQs Open to All Suppliers” link. (These are Invitation to Tenders open to any registered supplier)- Click on the relevant PQQ (PQQ_33646 available to access the content).- Click the “Express Interest” button in the “Actions” box on the page.- This will move the PQQ into your “My PQQs” page. (This is a secure area reserved for your projects only)- Click on the ITT code to access the content3.
