Framework Agreement for Maintenance Painterwork to Ayrshire Housing's stock over a three-year period from 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2026. The works comprise the internal and/or external maintenance painterwork to residential properties of various construction types. The works will also include the carrying out of pre-painterwork repairs as required prior to commencement of works at any development. Pre-painterwork repairs shall be identified in conjunction with the client’s representative via an initial joint site inspection however the client will retain the right to employ others to carry out pre-painterwork repairs at their discretion. The client may also include powerwashing and cleaning of building facades and general areas within the Framework at their discretion. Internal works include – but are not limited to – painting of walls and ceilings to communal stairwells, stair handrails and railings/balustrades, timber windows and doors and associated timber finishes/facings/cills/thresholds, etc. External works include – but are not limited to – painting of external walls and soffits of slabs, timber and metal doors, screens and windows and associated finishes as above, etc., timber fascias and soffits, timber and metal fences, gates and handrails, timber entrance canopies and metal clothes poles. As noted above the properties to be included within the Framework are of various construction types and will comprise of: - Single and two-storey dwellings – detached, semi-detached/end terraced and terraced properties. Low rise blocks of flats up to 4-storeys and including communal circulation and stairwell areas. Interested Bidders must complete the online Single Procurement Document (SPD). All properly submitted SPDs will be assessed and scored by Ayrshire Housing’s tender panel using the evaluation and scoring mechanisms set out within the SPD. It is envisaged that a shortlist of a minimum of five Contractors will be selected to go through to the tender stage. The final number of Bidders selected to go through will be at the discretion of Ayrshire Housing and will be dependent upon receiving at least five fully completed SPDs which attain a sufficiently high score to be considered capable of providing the contract requirements. If Ayrshire Housing decides there is insufficient acceptable bidders the procurement may be cancelled at any stage.
