Description

The Welsh Trunk roads network will be administered by single trunk road management unit with two geographic areas of operation, comprising North & Mid Wales and South Wales. The proposed new Regional Electrical Technology Maintenance Contract will be utilised by the South Wales Trunk Road Agent (SWTRA). The Contract will consist of category of works such as programmed works, urgent works and minor works. For avoidance of doubt, the proposed procurement exercise will be carried out by SWTRA and Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council (NPTCBC). The proposed contract duration is for 3 years with an option in favour of the Council to extend annually for up to a further two years. (i.e. 3+1+1).
