Powys County Council (the Council) is seeking to engage with suitably qualified and experienced organisations for Early Years Pre School Education Provision in Powys.Since September 2017, Powys early years education has been provided via contracted early years settings.From September 2025, the Council will be seeking to award new contracts for the next five years.All 3 and 4 year olds will have access to up to 10 hours of Early Years Education per week during term time. The new funding formula implemented in April 2024 £5 per hour per child. The provision will be split into catchment area lots.If you have the intention to bid for more than one setting under either asingle lot or under more than one lot, please ensure the applications are kept separate.Please note, however, this may result in a partial award and will not provide an advantage over other, single, bids.Lots:Lot 1 - AberhondduLot 2 - Bro HyddgenLot 3 - Llanfair-ym-MualltLot 4 - CaereinionLot 5 - Crug HywelLot 6 - GwernyfedLot 7 - John BeddoesLot 8 - Llandrindod WellsLot 9 - LlanfyllinLot 10 - LlanidloesLot 11 - MaesydderwenLot 12 - Y DrenewyddLot 13 - Y TrallwngFramework Agreement length - 4 years plus an option to extend for a further 1 year at the Council's discretion.Contract duration - Individual setting contract lengths - 5 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the Council's discretion.The Council intends to let a pseudo framework agreement under Regulations 74 to 77 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 Light Touch Regime.
