Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council are seeking to engage with providers for the delivery of a prevention pilot that will prioritise people who have recently attempted suicide and are known to services such as RDASH Crisis and Hospital Liaison Teams. The cohort of people will be those that have attempted suicide where they have experienced a life event such as relationship breakdown, loss of job, financial worries, bereavement. Thursday 8th August 2024 13:00 hours to 15:00 hours- Market Engagement Event (virtual) Lot 1: Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council are seeking a provider to deliver a prevention pilot working with people who have recently attempted suicide and are known to services such as RDASH Crisis and Hospital Liaison Teams. The service is not an emergency service and will work with people that have attempted suicide where their physical and mental health needs have been assessed and met. The pilot will have a particular focus of working with people who have attempted suicide due to life events such as relationship breakdown, loss of job, financial worries, bereavement. The service will provide emotional resilience coaching to build coping skills, support with emotional regulation and alleviate psychological distress as well as support to access other services available in the community. The aim of the service is to reduce social isolation, reduce suicidal thinking, increase emotional resilience, reduce suicidal activity, improve quality of life and improve coping mechanisms. The pilot service will be for adults (18 years and above) living in the Rotherham Borough and/or registered with a Rotherham GP. . It is expected that the future opportunity will run for a period of at least 12 months from contract commencement, 1 April 2025, with a maximum budget of £95,000.00. . Providers are invited to attend a market engagement (ME) event on Thursday 8th August 2024 from 13:00 hours to 15:00 hours via Microsoft Teams. . Providers should upload the completed document as your ‘bid’ response on the YorTender portal. Should providers have any feedback in terms of the intended specification, this can be completed in any format you wish, e.g., tracked changes to our specification, by inserting comments or by way of a submission of a separate document entirely. . Participation or non-participation in this pre-procurement market engagement shall not prevent any potential provider participating in, nor shall it place any potential provider at an advantage in any future procurement opportunity. . For clarity, this is not a Request for Quote / Tender. Any resultant opportunity will be advertised after the Market engagement event. Any future procurement opportunity is expected to be published on or around 10th September 2024. however, this timeframe is indicative only and the Council reserves the right to reschedule any forthcoming publication at any time. Additional information: Bidders are advised that the maximum budget available for the provision of this pilot contract is £95,000.00 The contract pilot is expected to last for at least 12 months of operational delivery from contract commencement with the available budget.
