The Council's, Housing and Technical Resources Consultancy Services had a requirement to appoint a specialist supplier for Supply, Delivery, and Installation of Commercial Laundry Equipment including ongoing maintenance for new and existing equipment within various tower blocks. The project also includes Installation of a mobile payment solution. The Council's, Procurement Service identified a suitable and accessible PfH Framework as follows: Framework: Procurement for Housing (PfH) Assisted Living Solutions, Kitchens, and Appliances FTS/OJEU Ref No: 2022/S 000-025024 Lot: 2, Commercial Appliances – Laundry Framework Period: 23rd January 2023 to 22nd January 2027 As part of the PfH Framework Agreement selection procedure, a purchaser can directly select a supplier from the framework based on the framework ranking. On review of the options available under the PfH Framework selection procedure it was agreed that directly selecting the supplier, Wolf Laundry, who are highest ranked within Lot 2 of the framework would provide best value to the Council.

We are looking for a company who will supply, install and carry out the Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) for a number of washers and dryers in our communal laundries across 77 of our sites, currently totalling 293 machines. This will be under a managed service, with contactless payment, whereby Platform are only the hosts for the machines, and will pay nothing. Any money you receive will be through the machines throughput. There are 2 sites, with 16 machines that we require Service, Maintenance and Repair for only, not new machines.
