South Midlands Pathology ("SMP") is seeking a partner to implement a Managed Equipment Service ("MES") contract for the Microbiology department. Lot 1: South Midlands Pathology ("SMP") is seeking a partner to implement a Managed Equipment Service ("MES") contract for the Microbiology department. The resultant contract will include the provision of maintenance and replacement of pathology equipment, associated connectivity and the supply of consumables, associated items, chemicals and reagents. All aspects of Microbiology will be covered by this procurement. SMP is a network of laboratories supporting healthcare providers in the South Midlands region, this includes; Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Services ("CWPS"), Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and Wye Valley NHS Trust. CWPS is CWPS is a managed network of laboratories hosted by University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. Laboratory services are provided by laboratories at University Hospital, Coventry, South Warwickshire Hospital, Warwick, and Geroge Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton. Additional information: HealthTrust Europe LLP (HTE) acting as a provider of procurement services; the resultant contract arising from this procurement will be entered into between the Contracting Authorities and the successful bidder.
