THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A PANEL FOR THE PROVISION OF: COACH/BUS HIRE SERVICES FOR UNIVERSITY COLLEGE CORK.
Published
Description
This Panel is due to commence from the end of November 2024. It will serve the needs of the University for the provision of Coach/Bus Hire Services on the island of Ireland for all the UCC Departments, Subsidiaries, Schools, Research Centres, Student Union and Clubs and Societies. The University hires Coaches/Buses for multiple reasons including but not limited to field trips and sporting events for the University and its Clubs and Societies. These services are required on an adhoc basis throughout the calendar year. The University is seeking interest from Coach/Bus Hire companies for the provision of such services for the forthcoming five years. The Park and Ride service operated by the University does not form part of the scope of this panel. It is required that all vehicles are maintained by the Contractor in a safe and roadworthy condition, complying in all respects with all Statutory and Regulatory laws and licencing requirements. The contractor must also ensure proposed drivers are qualified and have the necessary driving licencing in place for carrying passengers. A qualification system is being established to allow companies apply for consideration for appointment to a panel up until a day prior to the expiry date of the panel. It should be noted that only companies who have submitted completed documentation and have been approved can be considered for appointment to the panel. Only companies who have been appointed to the panel can be considered for requirements that arise during the lifetime of the panel. Providers should note that each University Department, Subsidiary, School, Research Centre, Student Union and Clubs and Society is responsible for the payment of its own invoices. Purchase orders should be sought when accepting any bookings. The travel will be arranged by the responsible UCC Department, Subsidiary, School, Research Centre, Student Union and Clubs and Society requiring the services. By applying to join this panel, you are agreeing to your contact details being shared on the University’s internal website. This Panel is due to commence from the end of November 2024.
