21/01911 - Framework agreement for shipyard services for the Institute of Marine Research's research vessels 'Kristine Bonnevie', 'Johan Hjort', 'G.O. Sars' and 'Hydrograf'.

Description

The Institute of Marine Research would like to enter into a framework agreement for general shipyard services for the Institute of Marine Research's research vessels, as well as research vessels that the Institute of Marine Research runs and staffs on behalf of other government entities. Vessels included in this contract are: 'Johan Hjort' 'Kristine Bonnevie' 'G.O. Sars' 'Hydrograf' 'Dr. Fritjof Nansen' Other vessels that the Institute of Marine Research takes over the operation and staffing responsibility for in the framework agreement period. Lot 1: The framework agreement is for work where there is a need to use a shipyard, see the requirements specification. The shipyard/maintenance period for some of the vessels will be December to January due to the large number of missions in the summer. The contracting authority therefore requires that the tenderer has a hall that can fully or partially take in the vessels so that the maintenance can be carried out regardless of the weather conditions at this time of the year. Thall must either be over a dry dock or the sea. The hull must be protected from the weather when the vessel is docked, so that sandblasting/painting is not affected by the weather conditions. Shipyard/maintenance time can also be given to vessels in the summer, but due to tight time schedules and obligations, it is decisive that the work is not affected by the weather conditions. The contracting authority will book a dock at the tenderer at the latest 3 months in advance. The mission plan for the following year, including shipyard stays, will be made available in November. Planned shipyard stays at the start of the year will be agreed with minimum three months notice.
