Swansea Council Events Team require a contractor to undertake drainage works at Museum Park in Swansea to allow the green event space to drain properly, so that the space is fit for purpose to be used for a range of events including food festivals, concerts, mass participation runs and outdoor cinemas. The space is prone to flooding and we require drainage works to mitigate flooding & pooling water. The aim is to provide a long-term drainage solution that is compatible with the events programme and associated infrastructure, to Museum Park approx. Area 1- 4000sqm, Area 2 - 1500sqm. Works are required to enable drainage to take excess water away from the surface.Works need to be completed and ‘grass read. Please itemise any works/processes/treatments/additions options that might speed up the ‘grass ready’ date.• Primary drainage to agreed outfall• Secondary drainage to primary drainage• Remedial works required• Grass sowing as requiredNOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. You can now access any attachments by clicking the “Settings and Buyer Attachments” in the “Actions” box.3. Responding to the invitation to tender:— You can now choose to “Reply” or “Reject” (please give a reason if rejecting).— You can now use the “Messages” function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification.— Note the deadline for completion, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the ITT.— There may be a mixture of online and offline actions for you to perform (there is detailed online help available).If you require any further assistance use the online help.
