Cheadle Eco Business Park is a proposed scheme on Bird Hall Lane in Cheadle which will see an underutilised, 7-acre, Council owned site be redeveloped into an exemplar, carbon efficient, sustainable 110,000sqft industrial development. Lot 1: Mini-competition via Procurement Partnerships Framework (PPF) Eight suitable, local suppliers available via the framework, already vetted. This lowers the risks associated with this value of procurement and should speed up the process comparable to an open procurement. Benefits of Option: • Fast route to market – as quick as six weeks to procure a compliant contractor • EU compliant • Free for clients to use • Several prelims are fixed from tender • Wide range of competent contractors • Use of standard contract (e.g. JCT, PSPC, NEC3) A two stage process with a PCSA in stage one. Advertised via the Chest to the four framework members that responded positively to the Project Inititiation Form exercise run by PPF. The opportunity was advertised on the 25th March 2024 with a deadline of 10th May at 12.00 noon. The following 4 suppliers expressed interest in the opportunity: Galliford Try Vinci Wilmott Dixon’s Keir Construction Ltd Bids were received from the following 2 of the above: Galliford Try Keir Construction Ltd Both bids met the specification.
