The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) is currently preparing to initiate a procurement process to establish a contract with a supplier (or suppliers) to deliver a new scheme of knowledge transfer for farmers. Given the potential scale and scope of this scheme, this scheme presents a significant opportunity for bidders. The purpose of this Market Sounding Exercise is to gauge market interest and gather insights to refine the service requirements. Lot 1: The College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE) is currently preparing to initiate a procurement process to establish a contract with a supplier (or suppliers) to deliver a new scheme of knowledge transfer for farmers. Given the potential scale and scope of this scheme, this scheme presents a significant opportunity for bidders. The purpose of this Market Sounding Exercise is to gauge market interest and gather insights to refine the service requirements. Preceding this PME, the proposed timeline for implementing procurement is as follows: • Apr 2025 – Procurement exercise begins. • July 2025 - Appointment of Supplier(s) • Sept 2025 – Start of delivery Please see Questionnaire for full details.
