Published

Description

The Council has over 40 playparks within the borough. There is a requirement to renew end of life play equipment and refurbish existing equipment across various play parks in South Tyneside over the next 4 years, and the Council anticipate spending approximately £200k a year doing this. The Council is intending to establish a framework of up to 6 play equipment providers / installers as a result of this procurement exercise. Work is intended to be awarded via the framework as follows: • Less than £75k – direct award (either on the basis of rank or to any supplier if justification can be made). • Over £75k – mini competition with all suppliers invited to respond. Keywords: playground equipment
