NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) is working on behalf of North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust (NSCHT) who are looking to undertake a Competitive Process for a Crisis Alternative Provision for Stoke on Trent & North Staffordshire . The service is intended to provide a Crisis House / Sanctuary / Safe Haven-type service for those in Mental Health crisis, as an alternative to hospital admission. NSCHT would like to invite all potential providers to an Engagement Event Monday 2nd December 2024 1:00pm-2:00pm via Microsoft Teams. The purpose of the Engagement Event is to share the background and the need for this service locally and share the intended outcomes of the service. Commissioners would like to understand the current market and their perspectives. Interested providers can register their interest on the Atamis Portal and answer the short questionnaire in project C318433 'NSCHT Crisis Alternative Provision for Stoke on Trent & North Staffordshire'. The deadline for submitting interest is Wednesday 27th November 2024 12:00pm. Providers who have registered an interest will then be sent the link to the engagement event before the event starts on Monday 2nd December 2024 (1:00pm). The estimated contract value is £1,100,000 for a 5 year contract (3 years with an option to extend once, and then once again). This value is subject to change. Lot 1: Competitive Process - dates to be confirmed. Additional information: The competitive tendering process to which this ITT relates to and further to which the Authority intends to purchase the Services as set out in regulation 11 of the provider selection regime 2023 for the award of a contract with a competition. This opportunity has been made available to all potential providers in delivering this service in line with the requirements which fall under Regulation 11 for the award of a contract with a competition, and Schedule 1 of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. As such, the competitive tendering of these Services will be run as a bespoke, single-stage tender process as will be described in the documentation for the Competitive Process, when it has been published.
