Description

ARC will establish and operate an ARC Sorting Facility as a centre for innovation, knowledge and green growth within the resource and waste area. The sorting Facility will focus on the sorting of recyclable resources from the residual waste collected from residents in ARC's catchment area. This means that the sorting facility will support the recycling of the resources and ensure that they can gain a new life for other residents or companies. This is an innovation compared to the existing methods of handling the residual waste from residents, whereby only the recyclable materials sorted by residents are sent for recycling. The sorting facility will be offered in 2 separate tenders. Under this call for tenders, the contracting authority wishes to receive bids for lead consultancy services in conjunction with the establishment of a process plant for a sorting facility inside a building at Kraftværksvej 31. In conjunction with planning, project design and execution of the new sorting facility, an agreement will be established with a lead consultant for the construction of the process plant. The sorting facility is expected to be based on NIR scanning of the waste, a ballistic separator for sorting film, magnetic sorting of ferrous metal and an eddy current separator for other metal fractions. The facility will be automated to the greatest possible extent, with focus on ensuring low operating costs and a good working environment. The facility will be designed to be flexible with regard to subsequent expansion, if there is a wish for sorting of other fractions and thereby additional contributions to increased recovery. The lead consultant will be represented by a project/project design manager who will represent the consultant in relation to the client in all matters concerning the consulting service. This contract concerns the services of the lead consultant for the establishment of a process plant for a sorting facility inside a building (but not consulting services related to the construction of the building). The lead consultant undertakes planning, project design, construction management, project follow-up, technical inspection and health and safety matters. The consultants’ services are in accordance with the service descriptions for Building and Construction 2018, published by FRI and the Danish Association of architectural firms, with the supplementary remarks specified in the project description, which refer to the capital headings from the service descriptions.
