I forbindelse med et kommende udbud af behandling af kommunalt indsamlet forbrændingsegnet affald ønsker Aarhus Kommune dialog med mulige leverandører. På nuværende tidspunkt er det uafklaret, om udbuddet skal omfatte behandling alene, eller om udbuddet også skal omfatte transport og evt. etablering af omlaste-faciliteter. Aarhus Kommune er interesseret i dialog med et bredt felt af aktører, herunder aktører, som alene kan varetage en del af opgaven. Formålet med markedsdialogen er at opnå viden om, hvad markedet kan tilbyde af muligheder og løsninger inden for behandling, transport og omlastning af kommunalt indsamlet forbrændingsegnet affald, og at modtage markedsaktørers input til det kommende udbud.
