Birmingham City Council will be carrying soft market testing exercises for indicative and MCERTS air quality sensors. The Authority will be running 2 separate procurement procedures; P2204 Indicative Air Quality Sensors (approx 350 sensors) - The indicative sensors will be sourced via an open competitive tender process. These sensors will make up the bulk of the developments. P2205 MCERTS Accredited Sensors (approx. 30 sensors) - The remaining 30 MCERTs accredited sensors will be sourced using the Crown Commercial Framework in which suppliers of MCERTs grade sensors have been identified The Council may wish to discuss each questionnaire directly with the submitting organisation; however: - no statement by any party within the questionnaire will form a part of the subsequent procurement processes - participation within this market engagement exercise does not commit either party to participate in the subsequent procurement processes BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this soft market engagement and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest. We will send you a log on and password so you can download the soft market engagement documentation. Requests to participate must be by way of response to the soft market engagement document no later than 15:00 hours (GMT) on 4th March 2024 using the Supplier Portal.
