The following requirements contain an in depth description of the two contracting customers’ overall goals for acquisition: — an acquisition model consisting of regular profile-based book selection by the libraries’ staff and subject specialists; — a service competitive solution in terms of effective order handling, correct processing of invoices, and a steady delivery flow; — a price competitive solution in terms of both material and support. The tender conditions open for bidding on supply of all materials, or the lots separate, or the one or two lots together: Lot 1: Books published in Anglo-/American speaking countries; Lot 2: Books published in German, in French, in Spanish, or in Italian speaking countries; Lot 3: Books published in Denmark and the other Nordic countries; Lot 4: Delivery of shelf-ready books published primarily in Anglo-/American speaking countries. This tender covers the supply of printed books published by commercial booksellers, public and private institutions and associations, as well as individuals (grey literature) within the fields of humanities and theology, law, social sciences, health and medical sciences, natural sciences, and technology.
