The inspection and refurbishment of four main hydraulic cylinders for the hoisting of linkspan bridges, from the Port of Dover, Kent. Lot 1: The inspection and refurbishment of four main hydraulic cylinders for the hoisting of linkspan bridges, from the Port of Dover, Kent. This will include, though not be limited to, the following: - Detailed design of components - Factory testing - Certification and reporting including critical dimension checks. - Renewals of bearings, seals and fasteners. - New cylinder rod installation. - Replacements of pipework and manifolds. - Shotblasting and painting.
