NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU on behalf of NHS Birmingham and Solihull ICB invited suitably experienced and qualified providers to tender for the provision of a Children and Young People's Key Worker service.<br/><br/>The contract is for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the discretion of the commissioner. The service is expected to start on 1st May 2024. Lot 1: NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU on behalf of NHS Birmingham and Solihull ICB invited suitably experienced and qualified providers to tender for the provision of a Children and Young People's Key Worker service.<br/><br/>The Key Worker service is open to support children and young people 0-25 years living with Autism and/or a Learning Disability who are registered with a Birmingham or Solihull GP practice and are at risk of admission and are on a Dynamic Support Register, rated at level Amber or Red, or are a current inpatient. The scope of the service tendered is as outlined in the service specification.<br/><br/>The contract is for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years at the discretion of the commissioner. The service is expected to start on 1st May 2024.<br/><br/>The procurement process was described within the documentation published. This procurement was advertised in accordance with the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended) (the "Regulations") to the extent that the Regulations relate to services within the scope of Schedule 3 thereto (Social and Other Specific Services). The Commissioner and AGCSU are, therefore, bound only by those parts of the Regulations applying to Schedule 3 services (also known as the "Light Touch Regime").
