Description
A contract for the provision of development management services in connection with the development known as "Imperial 2", being the proposed development at Clockhouse and Access House, Bromley-by-Bow, London E3 3EA. The Contract is for the provision of development management services in connection with the Imperial 2 development, which is a mixed tenure housing development involving the construction of approximately 491 units. Under the Contract the appointed development manager will provide strategic project management, procurement and delivery management services and will (amongst other things) be required to do the following: — procure and manage the contractors, professional consultants and technical advisers for the development, — lead the client in its discharge of the client's responsibilities and liabilities arising from or associated with the development, its implementation and progression, — lead the client in its liaison with third parties and prospective development partners and purchasers including their respective advisers and representatives, — lead the client in its activities associated with applications for, negotiations surrounding, procurement of and entry into collaborative and other, including statutory, agreements as may be deemed necessary or appropriate to the progression and success of the development, — to lead, challenge, review, and where appropriate, validate professional advice received from the professional team and elsewhere and otherwise act to optimise development returns as expressed in the objectives of the development.
