NOTE: This notice was updated on 05 September 2019 for the following reason: Competition withdrawn, no longer to go ahead at this time. The requirement will be re-advertised in due course.(Babcock DSG Ltd acting as agent to the UK Ministry of Defence (The Authority) has under consideration a 1 year Contract for the supply of cadet Target Rifle Spares and associated items. The estimated value of this requirement is £20,000. Cyber Security Code RAR 2KKR497C and the Cyber risk is Low. All Potential Operators who are invited to tender must complete the Supplier Assurance Questionnaire (SAQ) via the Supplier Cyber Protection Service (Octavian) https://supplier-cyber-protection.service.gov.uk/ to demonstrate their compliance with the required cyber risk level. This is a self-assurance process and no validation of the SAQ return is required. Selection Criteria: All items within scope are codified to NATO Stock Numbers (NSN's) or supplied in accordance with the Drawings provided. Down-selected Tenderers shall be invited to submit bids for the Codification Support Information System (CSIS) (maintained by the United Kingdom National Codification Bureau) and Drawing compliant parts. The compliant Manufacturer's Part Numbers (MPNs) are detailed on CSIS; further details can be found on the CSIS/UKNCB website. The Authority shall issue drawings in connection with this requirement at Tender stage. Expressions of interest in this requirement are to be submitted by e-mail to Louise.Davis@babcockinternational.com with: 1) Please provide evidence (by way of valid certificate(s)) of your ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent accreditation including full details of scope. The scope must be relevant to this requirement. To be valid the certificate(s) must be in date and to a recognised European (EN) Quality Management System (QMS) standard and be issued by a Certified Body holding suitable accreditation from a National Accreditation Body (NAB) who is a signatory to the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) or IAF Accredited Regional Multi-Lateral Agreement (MLP). The successful Contractor shall hold and maintain this certification for the duration of the Contract. If you do not hold this certification/accreditation, but you have a Quality Management System (QMS) in place which is comparable to the above standards but not certified you must provide evidence of this QMS with your expression of interest. The Authority reserves the right to conduct a site audit to confirm your response, at your cost; this audit may be conducted by a competent 3rd party. Failure to provide evidence of your ISO accreditation or comparable QMS in place (where accreditation does not exist) will result in the Authority rejecting your expression of interest and you will not be invited to Tender. 2) Evidence of a valid Firearms Licence. Award Criteria: The Authority intends to appoint a single Economic Operator to the Contract based on the lowest price for supplying items at the estimated quantities listed in the Tender.
