Description

This is to inform you the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) is looking for a Family law legal subject matter expert. Legal basics / principles to protect home rights and keeping up payments when deciding to separate. 3. Legal and financial considerations when proceeding with divorce or separation. 6. Legal basics / principles for dividing assets and liabilities when reaching a financial settlement when divorcing. 7. Legal basics / principles for dividing assets or liabilities when separating as an unmarried, cohabiting couple. 8. Legal and financial considerations after divorce, dissolution or separation Examples of the types of questions we are interested in are below: •To protect the immediate financial position when deciding to separate/divorce, what actions should be considered to protect joint bank accounts, savings, investments, insurance and other assets when married or civil partners? •What are the options for financing legal costs and fees while proceedings are under way and/or when financial settlement is reached? •What are the legal remedies for non-payment or arrears of child maintenance? The anticipated value of this requirement is £50k. If this is something you would be interested in, please provide your organisation name and email commerical@maps.org.uk by 16:00 by Friday 3 November quoting 23-098C Family Law Specialists.
