Zur Untersuchung der Wasserstoff-Permeation und des Berstens von FVK-Innentankstrukturen wird ein Prüfstand benötigt. Die Prüflinge werden einen vorgegebenen Innendurchmesser (~1,714m) besitzen und die Form eines Halbtanks haben, d.h. einen zylindrischen Teil mit 850 mm Länge und einen isotensoiden Dom (510mm Höhe) und damit eine Gesamtlänge ca. 1360mm. Die Kontur wird vorgegeben. Für die beiden Versuchsszenarien Wasserstoff-Permeation und Bersten der Innentanks wird der Prüfstand in unterschiedlichen Konfigurationen betrieben.
