Electron Beam Welder (EBW3 Welder)
Published
Description
UKAEA is looking to procure an Electron-Beam Welder (EBW3 Welder) for the United Kingdom’s Atomic Energy Authority’s Special Techniques Group (UKAEA-STG). The EBW3 welder will be housed at UKAEA’s premises in Culham, Oxfordshire, UK. It is intended to replace an existing machine which is very old and cannot provide the level of data capture required for UKAEA to meet internal and external customer requirements, especially for weld qualification work. UKAEA is looking for a supplier than can deliver a machine that meets UKAEA’s requirements, and install and commission it at UKAEA’s Culham site.
