Whole Family Support Framework Agreement Lot 1: Universal Whole Family Support Service – North and South Carrick Universal Whole Family Support Service The aim of this service is to signpost and/or provider a flexible range of supports to families who are requesting early help. The service will primarily take referrals from families and other professionals and should be able to respond to needs quickly and with a flexible approach. The range of services should be based on whole family wellbeing, with a focus on early and preventative interventions which help families meet their specific needs and to avoid crisis. It is proposed the service will provide help to children, young people, parents, and carers with children aged 0 – 18 years. Advocacy The aim of the service is to provide an advocacy service to children and young people aged 0 – 25 years, residing within South Ayrshire and children and young people who South Ayrshire Council are responsible for but may live out with South Ayrshire. Professional advocacy will mainly be provided to children and young people, some of whom may have additional support needs and who are considered to be: . on the edges of care, including children subject to Child Protection measures . care experienced . children under 16 years who are subject to compulsory measures under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2000 Lot 2: Universal Whole Family Support Service - Ayr (Including Troon, Prestwick, and surrounding Villages) Universal Whole Family Support Service The aim of this service is to signpost and/or provider a flexible range of supports to families who are requesting early help.
