Description

The West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust (WHHT, the Trust) provides acute healthcare services to a core catchment population of approximately half a million people living in west Hertfordshire and the surrounding area. The Trust also provides a range of more specialist services to a wider population, serving residents of North London, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and East Hertfordshire. As an employer of almost 5 000 people the Trust is one of the biggest employers in the area and sees nearly a million patients each year. The Trust is seeking accommodation provision for 28 medical students on placement at Watford General Hospital on an annual contract. For full details of Bedroom, Bathroom and Kitchen requirements please refer to section B and C in HSC (2000) 036. The Trust’s Service Level Agreement with UCL also requires the provision of fast broadband within the student accommodation to allow for private study and will be a key requirement of this contract. The accommodation will require a weekly clean of the communal areas.
