Non Scalpel Vasectomy AQP Window 2 NHS Norfolk and Waveney ICB

NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board invite applications to join the Any Qualified Provider list window 2 for the Provision of non-scalpel vasectomy services across Norfolk and Waveney . The service will be delivered as an AQP (Any Qualified Provider) list.<br/><br/>Contracts awarded as a result of this process are awarded without any exclusivity or commitment as to volumes or levels of activity on the part of the Commissioner(s). Lot 1: NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB) wish to re-open the AQP list (Window 2) for providers to deliver non-scalpel vasectomy services across Norfolk and Waveney.<br/><br/>The service will provide safe and effective care provision using primarily no-scalpel technique vasectomy under local anaesthetic:<br/><br/>• In accordance with the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH) guidance, in a primary care setting to all consenting adult males who request it; and are registered with a GP practice in the commissioning areas of Norfolk and Waveney. (Subject to acceptance and exclusion criteria and thresholds).<br/>• Compliant with the requirements of the British Association of Urological Surgeon guidelines<br/>• In line with ICB Clinical Threshold Policy. (Sterilisation by Vasectomy and Reversal)<br/>• Assessment of patients before embarking on any surgical using local and national guidelines and ensure compliance to any current and future NICE guidelines<br/>• All operating staff have undertaken the relevant training and accreditation<br/><br/>** Current services will remain in place and existing Providers do not need to re-apply.<br/><br/>Contracts awarded as a result of this process are awarded without any exclusivity or commitment as to volumes or levels of activity on the part of the Commissioner(s).<br/><br/>The Contracting Authority will be using an eTendering system for this market testing exercise.
